Role Context
The Homeroom Teacher plays a central role in managing classroom learning, supporting students’ academic and personal growth, and contributing to curriculum leadership in core subjects such as English or Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards
* Plan and prepare learning materials for diverse student needs
* Assess, record, and report student progress and performance
* Support students with varied abilities including ESL and gifted learners
* Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and assessments
* Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom teaching
* Promote student wellbeing and positive behavior management
* Take on additional responsibilities as English or Math Subject Leader where required
* Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
* Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and development

Ideal Profile
* Bachelor of Education or relevant degree with PGCE or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Homeroom Teacher
* Strong understanding of primary education curriculum
* IELTS Academic score of 7.5 or equivalent proficiency
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to take on subject leadership responsibilities
* Passion for teaching and continuous professional development
