Role Context
This role supports legal operations by coordinating case management activities, ensuring timely updates, and maintaining strong communication with external legal partners. It contributes to effective dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within the banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with external law firms on assigned legal cases across different categories
* Track case progress through all legal stages and update internal systems and records
* Ensure timely filing of cases and submission of required documentation
* Monitor vendor performance and maintain effective communication with legal service providers
* Attend meetings and review legal memos, reports, and case updates
* Maintain accurate legal flags and case records within internal systems
* Support handling of cases against the bank and provide required assistance
* Manage retrieval and return of original legal documents as per policy
* Handle escalations and requests related to collections and recovery cases
* Collaborate with internal teams to provide legal support and advisory when required
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor degree in Law, Business, or related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in banking or legal operations
* Strong understanding of legal case handling and documentation processes
* Experience coordinating with law firms and external vendors
* Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
