Are you passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with diverse learning needs? As a Learning Support Assistant at Al Futtaim Education Foundation, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Working closely with teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), you will provide individualized and small-group support to help students succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized or small-group support to students with learning difficulties or special educational needs (SEN)
- Assist students with classroom activities, ensuring they stay engaged and understand the material
- Support students in developing social skills and managing behavior using positive reinforcement strategies
- Work with teachers to modify and adapt lessons to meet students\' specific needs
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Help prepare instructional materials and classroom resources
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment, assisting in classroom management
- Supervise students during break times, field trips, and school activities as required
- Maintain open communication with teachers, SENCO, and parents regarding student progress
- Keep accurate records of student behavior and progress, contributing to reports and parent-teacher meetings
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance SEN support skills
- Work collaboratively with other LSAs and teaching staff to share strategies and best practices
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or certification in special education, teaching assistance, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
- Basic understanding of child development and learning processes
- Proficiency in using technology to support learning
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a multicultural environment
