What Does a Mathematics Teacher Do?
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England, helping students build a strong foundation in numeracy, problem-solving, and logical thinking. You will be responsible for guiding learners through GCSE-level content and supporting academic excellence within a supportive and innovative school environment.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Teach Mathematics to students at KS3 and GCSE levels
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that cater to varying learning abilities
- Use data to track progress and tailor instruction to student needs
- Promote independent thinking and the practical application of mathematical concepts
- Integrate technology and digital tools into the learning experience
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and cross-subject integration

What Skills Are Needed for a Mathematics Teacher in Dubai?
Education:
- B.Ed in Mathematics or a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
Experience:
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics to GCSE level
- Experience in British curriculum schools is preferred
Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum expertise
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners
- Classroom management and differentiation skills
