Position Overview
School Compliance Officer at GEMS Education in Dubai ensures that the school operates in full compliance with all regulatory requirements and government authorities. The role manages regulatory processes, monitors compliance systems, and coordinates with leadership and external authorities to maintain operational standards across academic, administrative, and safety frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the school complies with all regulatory requirements from authorities including MOE, KHDA, ADEK, MOHRE, Civil Defence, and health and safety agencies.
* Manage student regulatory systems including registrations, transfers, withdrawals, and academic record updates.
* Coordinate teacher approval processes with the HR department to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Maintain updated records of all operational permits, licenses, and regulatory documentation.
* Act as the main school contact for regulatory matters and coordinate with internal compliance leadership and external authorities.
* Monitor regulatory timelines and ensure timely submission of approvals, renewals, and required documentation.
* Track compliance performance and prepare reports for the Principal, compliance leadership, and relevant stakeholders.
* Support delivery of compliance training, awareness programs, and staff induction on regulatory policies.
* Ensure adherence to internal policies including code of conduct, health and safety standards, and inspection frameworks.
* Assist in compliance investigations and documentation processes when regulatory concerns arise.
* Contribute to institutional compliance initiatives and support group-wide regulatory projects.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
* Minimum three years of experience managing regulatory affairs within the education sector, preferably in K-12 schools.
* Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory authorities and education compliance frameworks.
* Experience managing compliance systems in controlled or regulated environments.
* Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
* Highly organized with strong analytical and communication skills.
