Role Context
This role is responsible for managing all health-related functions within a nursery setting, ensuring compliance with UAE health authorities and educational guidelines. The position focuses on safeguarding children’s wellbeing, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting a safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure full compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations from relevant UAE authorities
* Provide immediate medical care and first aid treatment to children and staff when required
* Maintain and update detailed medical records including allergies and health conditions
* Administer medication with proper parental consent and documentation
* Monitor children’s health and communicate any concerns to management and parents
* Prepare and manage clinic facilities ensuring all medical supplies are available and maintained
* Record incidents, treatments, and health assessments accurately
* Support visiting doctors and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines
* Share medical information with teaching and administrative staff for child safety
* Maintain confidentiality of all medical and personal records
* Supervise support staff and ensure hygiene standards are consistently maintained
* Assist in creating a safe, clean, and supportive nursery environment
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification
* Valid nursing registration from home country
* DHA license or eligibility required
* Experience working in pediatric or school healthcare environments preferred
* Strong understanding of child health, safety, and emergency procedures
* Excellent communication skills with parents, staff, and management
* Ability to manage medical records and maintain compliance standards
