Role Context
The PA to the Senior Leadership Team plays a critical role in ensuring efficient school leadership operations by managing administration, communication flow, compliance support, and stakeholder coordination. This position strengthens organisational efficiency by supporting the Secondary Principal and wider leadership team while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Secondary Principal including diary management, correspondence, and meeting coordination
* Welcome visitors to the school and professionally handle enquiries from parents, staff, students, and external stakeholders
* Manage phone calls, emails, and meeting requests while ensuring timely and appropriate responses
* Prepare, edit, and format reports, presentations, official correspondence, and school communications
* Coordinate agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up actions for leadership and staff meetings
* Support organisation of school events including parent meetings, inspections, award ceremonies, and professional development sessions
* Maintain accurate and confidential staff files, records, payroll information, and leadership documentation
* Support recruitment administration including references, document transfers, and communication with Aldar HQ
* Assist with ADEK reports, audits, inspections, accreditation visits, and compliance documentation
* Line manage admin staff, support reception during busy periods, and coordinate school-wide announcements and newsletters
Ideal Profile
* Minimum diploma or degree in higher education or related graduate-level qualification
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar executive assistant, PA, or administrative leadership role
* Strong experience supporting senior leadership within education or professional environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisational and workload prioritisation abilities
* High level of professionalism, calmness, and problem-solving ability
* Excellent IT literacy and administrative systems management skills
* Strong confidentiality handling and professional discretion
* Ability to think ahead, use initiative, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
* Strong understanding of school operations and compliance processes is highly valuable
