Key Responsibilities

- Conduct experimental and modeling research on the thermal and mechanical properties of smart materials

- Analyze data, document results, and prepare findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Submit biweekly research reports and actively participate in group seminars and discussions
- Train students, capstone researchers, and interns in research methodologies and analytical techniques
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the CSEM and Naumov Research Group to advance research initiatives
- Maintain laboratory documentation, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and contribute to the center\'s ongoing projects

Required Skills and Experience

- Background in mechanical engineering, solid-state physics, chemistry, or materials science
- Experience in experimental techniques or computational modeling for thermal and mechanical characterization of materials
- Strong academic publication record in engineering or science fields
