Role Context
The Physical Education Teacher plays an important role in supporting students’ physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and overall wellbeing. This position helps learners develop healthy habits, confidence, and sportsmanship through structured PE lessons, extracurricular sports activities, and a positive school culture focused on growth and participation.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver the required Physical Education curriculum with accurate and updated subject knowledge
* Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that motivate students and support different learning styles
* Create safe and inclusive sports activities that encourage fitness, teamwork, and personal development
* Maintain records of lesson plans, attendance, teaching resources, and student assessments
* Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback on performance and improvement areas
* Use suitable teaching strategies to support students with different abilities and educational needs
* Promote student wellbeing and provide educational guidance related to health and active lifestyles
* Display strong competence in using media and technology to support classroom and sports learning
* Participate in and lead co-curricular and extra-curricular sports programmes and school events
* Monitor and supervise safe student behaviour and implement strategies for discipline and engagement
* Build strong communication with parents and external stakeholders where appropriate
* Support school events such as competitions, sports days, performances, and community activities
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or relevant subject specialization
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience in reputable schools within the subject area
* Strong classroom and sports activity management abilities
* Good understanding of student development and physical education standards
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good ICT skills and ability to use educational technology effectively
