Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver classroom lessons that encourage students to participate, learn confidently, and achieve strong outcomes.

* Provide constructive feedback to parents and carers during Parent Teacher Conferences and school meetings.
* Reflect on classroom provision, student progress, and lesson impact to improve future teaching.
* Work with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists, and support professionals when required.
* Embed Teacher and Learner DNA values, language, and positive learning attitudes across the curriculum.
* Build respectful relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
* Support school expectations for high-quality learning, student wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification.
* Previous classroom teaching experience in Cycle 2, Cycle 3, upper primary, middle school, or American curriculum education is preferred.
* Strong understanding of curriculum planning, lesson delivery, student assessment, and classroom differentiation.
* Ability to support mixed-ability learners through structured, imaginative, and inclusive teaching.
* Confident communication skills for working with pupils, parents, teachers, school leaders, and support professionals.
* Professional approach to safeguarding, student wellbeing, assessment records, and school policies.
* Ability to use assessment systems such as Target Tracker to monitor progress and improve planning.
