The Primary Teacher - Elementary Education is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and promote academic growth. This role supports the whole child by combining strong teaching practice, effective assessment, positive behaviour management, and active collaboration with parents and school staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons that support strong student outcomes across the curriculum
* Plan, prepare, and present learning sessions for students across all ability levels
* Organize classroom resources and displays to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
* Monitor, assess, and record student progress using school assessment systems such as Target Tracker
* Use assessment data to guide lesson planning, intervention, and classroom provision
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and student development
* Maintain effective communication with parents during conferences and school meetings
* Support students whose first language is not English through inclusive teaching strategies
* Follow school behaviour policies and promote positive attitudes, independence, and self-control
* Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and weekly ECA programmes
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or another recognized teaching qualification
* Minimum 1 to 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment
* Previous experience working with students where English is an additional language is preferred
* Strong passion for teaching and commitment to whole-child development
* Professional attitude with strong awareness of student well-being and safeguarding
* Positive, solution-focused mindset and strong teamwork skills
* Respectful approach toward all members of the school community
* Valid police clearance or enhanced background check required
