As a School Librarian, you will lead the development and daily operations of the school library, ensuring that it remains a vital resource for both
students and faculty. This includes curating a balanced collection of books and digital materials, promoting research skills, and organizing engaging reading initiatives. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about literacy and technology integration in education.

* Maintain an up-to-date, accessible collection of books and digital learning tools
* Support students in developing research and information literacy skills

* Organize book fairs, reading clubs, and literacy programs to foster reading habits
* Guide students in using online research databases and evaluating digital sources
* Ensure the library is a welcoming, well-maintained space conducive to learning
* Keep records of book loans, overdue materials, and library usage data
* Prepare and manage the library’s annual budget and procurement plans
* Stay current with education trends, library technologies, and reading programs
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or English
* Prior experience as a librarian in a school environment preferred
* Familiarity with library classification systems and digital catalog tools
