Role Context
The School Receptionist - Front Office will act as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, visitors, and external callers. The role requires a calm, courteous, and efficient approach to handling front office communication, visitor coordination, student documentation, admissions support, and routine administrative tasks. The successful candidate will help maintain a professional school environment while supporting smooth communication between parents, teachers, and the administration team.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome visitors, parents, students, and staff in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner.
* Manage the school reception area and ensure a positive first impression for all visitors.
* Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, handle inquiries, and route messages to the appropriate staff members.
* Maintain visitor logs and support school security procedures by following entry and access protocols.
* Assist with student registration, admissions paperwork, document collection, and record updates.
* Support front office administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry, and document organization.
* Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier services, school mail, and official correspondence.
* Update and maintain school records, student files, and information in the student management system.
* Support communication between parents, teachers, administrative staff, and school leadership.
* Assist with appointment scheduling, parent meetings, school events, and front desk coordination.
* Maintain confidentiality when handling student, parent, and staff information.
* Provide general administrative assistance to the school office and complete assigned tasks from school administration.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist, front office, customer service, or administrative role.
* Previous experience in a school, nursery, training institute, or educational environment is preferred.
* Candidate must be on own visa under husband or father sponsorship.
* Immediate joiner preferred.
* Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
* Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.
