What You’ll Do
* Teach Science at GCSE and/or A Level, delivering the British curriculum to the highest standards
* Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities
* Utilize cognitive science principles and instructional strategies to enhance student understanding and retention
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and ensure curriculum continuity
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, implementing strategies to support continuous improvement
* Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and wider community engagement
* Contribute to professional learning communities, engaging in StepLab coaching and other development programs
* Uphold GEMS Education values and promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent secondary teaching qualification
* Proven experience teaching the British curriculum – Science at GCSE and/or A Level
* Strong subject knowledge and commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning
* Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience in a high-performing school environment
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
* Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration
