Role Context
The SENCO Teacher will lead and support inclusive education practices across secondary levels, ensuring all students receive appropriate learning support. This role plays a critical part in enhancing student achievement by implementing differentiated strategies, coordinating support systems, and working closely with teachers, parents, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver inclusive and inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB curriculum frameworks
* Identify and support students with additional learning needs across secondary levels
* Develop individualized education plans and monitor student progress effectively
* Apply differentiated teaching strategies for diverse learners including EAL and gifted students
* Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum and classroom practices

Ideal Profile
* Bachelor degree with SEN specialization or relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE
* Minimum 3 years experience teaching SEN at secondary level
* Experience within IB curriculum is preferred but not mandatory
* Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and student support strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work within a multicultural school environment
