Role Context
The Teacher - American Curriculum Education will support student progress through well-planned instruction, effective assessment and a classroom culture
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the school\'s American curriculum framework.
* Establish clear learning objectives and measurable success criteria.
* Create engaging classroom experiences that promote curiosity and independent learning.
* Adapt teaching strategies for students with different abilities and educational needs.
* Prepare appropriate resources, presentations, assignments and digital learning materials.
* Use questioning, discussion and collaborative activities to deepen student understanding.
* Monitor student participation and provide timely academic guidance.
* Design formative and summative assessments appropriate to the subject and grade level.
* Analyse assessment evidence to identify strengths, gaps and intervention priorities.
* Provide constructive feedback that supports measurable improvement.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, achievement and student progress.
* Use educational technology to enhance instruction and classroom interaction.
* Build a respectful, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
* Apply consistent behaviour expectations and promote responsible student conduct.
* Support students\' academic, social and emotional development.
* Communicate professionally with parents regarding progress and learning priorities.

Ideal Profile
* Recognised bachelor\'s degree and professional teaching qualification.
* Relevant classroom teaching experience within an appropriate subject or grade level.
* Experience in an American curriculum school is preferred.
* Strong understanding of effective teaching, assessment and student development.
* Ability to inspire students and promote a genuine love of learning.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Confident classroom management and behaviour-support skills.
* Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
* Competence in using assessment data to improve student outcomes.
* Comfortable working with educational technology and digital learning platforms.
* Strong communication skills for engaging students, parents and colleagues.
