Key Responsibilities

* Deliver inspiring Humanities lessons that help students achieve strong academic outcomes
* Plan and prepare engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and school teaching objectives
* Create a positive and intellectually stimulating classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and active participation
* Organise classroom resources, learning displays, and teaching materials that support strong student engagement
* Teach students across different ability levels using effective differentiation strategies and targeted interventions
* Assess student progress regularly and use academic data to improve lesson planning and learning outcomes
* Maintain accurate student development records using Target Tracker and school assessment systems
* Support students where English is an additional language through inclusive and effective teaching methods

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed. or PGCE Education qualification
* Strong experience teaching AP, IB, or A-Levels standard is required
* Previous international school experience is an advantage
* Previous experience teaching students where English is not their first language
* Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
* High level of professionalism with strong focus on student wellbeing and safeguarding
* Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues
