The Teacher of Arabic A

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver structured Arabic A lessons appropriate to middle school learners and curriculum expectations.
* Develop students\' Arabic reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and comprehension capabilities.
* Apply strong knowledge of Arabic Language and Literature to create academically meaningful classroom experiences.
* Use experience from primary or secondary education to support progression between different stages of learning.
* Assess student attainment regularly and use performance evidence to adjust instruction and provide targeted support.
* Create engaging activities that encourage participation, independent thinking, language confidence, and a genuine interest in learning Arabic.
* Differentiate classroom instruction to accommodate varying attainment levels and individual learning requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of assessment, progress, intervention, and student achievement.
* Use appropriate educational technology and digital resources to strengthen lesson delivery and student engagement.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic progress, classroom performance, and areas requiring additional attention.
* Collaborate with teaching colleagues and school leaders on curriculum delivery, planning, assessment, and student development.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute actively to the wider life of the school.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Arabic Language and Literature or an equivalent qualification, together with a recognised teacher qualifying certification.
A minimum of two years of teaching experience at primary or secondary level is required. International school teaching experience in Dubai is desirable and would provide valuable familiarity with the expectations of a multicultural school community.
The successful teacher should demonstrate excellent Arabic subject knowledge alongside a strong standard of written and spoken English equivalent to IELTS 6 or above. The role requires creativity in the classroom, confident interpersonal communication, sound IT skills, and the ability to establish productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
