The Teacher - Primary and Head of Nursery plays a strategic role in shaping early education standards while leading a team focused on delivering outstanding learning experiences for young students. This position supports academic growth, pastoral care, curriculum development, and staff performance while ensuring children receive innovative, purposeful, and high-quality education from the earliest stages of learning.

Key Responsibilities

* Teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum with engaging and effective lesson delivery
* Lead nursery planning meetings and coordinate teaching teams to ensure strong academic and pastoral outcomes
* Create innovative and purposeful learning opportunities across all curriculum areas for young learners
* Organise classrooms, learning resources, and displays that promote a positive and stimulating learning environment
* Support students with EAL and additional learning needs through targeted intervention and inclusive teaching
* Monitor student attainment and progress to ensure children exceed expected learning outcomes
* Use Learning Ladders and assessment data to guide lesson planning, interventions, and pupil progress discussions
* Line manage teachers and teaching assistants to ensure strong performance against UAE Professional Teacher Standards
* Promote safeguarding, behaviour management, and the school’s TRACK Values through daily leadership and classroom practice
* Support school events, extracurricular activities, parent communication, and weekly ECA delivery

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
* Minimum 3 years teaching experience within the English National Curriculum
* Leadership experience is desirable, especially within nursery or primary education
* Strong experience teaching across the primary age range with proven success
* Clear understanding of the UK National Curriculum and assessment practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, students, and parents
