Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging classroom lessons that help students make strong academic and personal progress.
* Create a positive, well-organised learning environment with resources, displays, and activities that support
* Use inclusive teaching methods to support different learning needs and ability levels across the class.
* Work with colleagues to prepare lessons, share good practice, and improve curriculum delivery.
* Monitor student progress through school assessments, classroom observations, and structured learning evidence.
* Use assessment data to adjust planning, improve intervention, and support individual student achievement.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress, wellbeing, and development.
* Maintain strong classroom behaviour routines in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
* Collaborate with curriculum support staff and external specialists when additional student support is required.
* Contribute to curriculum action groups, school events, special activities, and wider professional responsibilities.
* Run a weekly extra-curricular activity each term and support the broader life of the school.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification.
* Minimum 1-2 years of classroom teaching experience.
* Good understanding of curriculum planning, assessment methods, and primary classroom practice.
* Previous experience teaching students whose first language is not English is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with students, parents, teachers, and school leaders.
* Passion for whole-child education, student wellbeing, and inclusive learning.
* Professional, respectful, and solution-focused approach to school life.
* Recent involvement in extra-curricular activities or wider school initiatives.
* Ability to reside in the same Emirate as the assigned school.
* Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police clearance as required.
