Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the primary curriculum for Year 3 to Year 5 students
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learning abilities
* Plan differentiated lessons that encourage creativity, independence, and active participation
* Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records of academic development and attainment
* Use effective teaching strategies to support both high achievers and students needing additional learning support
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and strong classroom relationships
* Work closely with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and improve learning outcomes
* Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, wellbeing, and achievement
* Contribute actively to extracurricular activities, school events, and wider community programmes
* Support the school’s values of curiosity, confidence, creativity, respect, and kindness in daily practice
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor of Education or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification
* Degree in Primary Education or a related academic field
* Proven classroom experience teaching Year 3 to Year 5 or equivalent KS2 level
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective pedagogical practice
* Proven record of outstanding teaching and strong student outcomes
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
* Creative and enthusiastic teaching style both inside and outside the classroom
