Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine testing and factory acceptance testing for LV switchgear in line with IEC standards.
* Inspect wiring, components, assemblies and mechanical or electrical functionality before final release.
* Test protection relays, control circuits, interlocks and related electrical systems.
* Prepare accurate test reports, inspection records and quality documentation for project files.
* Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults and work closely with design and production teams to resolve technical issues.
* Support client inspections by ensuring all testing, documentation and QA/QC requirements are ready.
* Supervise technicians during testing activities and guide them on safe and accurate work practices.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures including LOTO, PPE and company electrical safety standards.
* Maintain testing discipline, inspection traceability and quality control standards throughout the production process.
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
* Experience in LV switchgear testing, FAT procedures, QA/QC inspection or electrical panel manufacturing.
* Good knowledge of IEC standards related to low voltage switchgear testing and inspection.
* Strong understanding of protection relays, control wiring, electrical circuits and panel functionality.
* Ability to read electrical drawings, identify wiring issues and troubleshoot technical faults.
* Experience handling NCRs, test reports, inspection records and quality documentation.
* Good coordination skills for working with design, production, QA/QC teams and client representatives.
* Safety-focused mindset with awareness of LOTO, PPE and electrical testing precautions.
* Able to supervise technicians and manage testing activities under production timelines.
