This role supports power plant operations by providing technical expertise on turbine systems, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring optimal plant performance. It plays a key role in improving reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting customer operations in energy facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for gas turbines, steam turbines, and auxiliary systems
* Plan and coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities
* Analyze plant performance data focusing on reliability, availability, and maintainability
* Prepare reports supporting billing, performance guarantees, and improvement initiatives
* Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication
* Prepare technical documentation including procedures, reports, and proposals
* Coordinate with field engineers, vendors, and internal teams for project execution
* Travel to project sites for technical support and project coordination
Ideal Profile
* Degree in Engineering or related discipline
* 3–5 years of experience in power generation or oil and gas environments
* Experience with turbines or rotating equipment preferred
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Customer-focused with good communication abilities
* Ability to travel for site support and project activities
