Position Overview
The Architect CAD Specialist will remotely prepare accurate architectural CAD drawings and construction documentation for multidisciplinary projects. This contract role in Abu Dhabi requires practical experience with floor plans, elevations, GD and T callouts, electrical schematics, and PCB layouts.
The selected professional will translate technical requirements into well-organized drawing sets while ensuring accuracy, consistency, manufacturability, and compliance with relevant documentation standards.
What You\'ll Do
* Create detailed architectural floor plans, elevations, and construction drawing sets based on project specifications
* Develop
accurate two-dimensional and three-dimensional CAD drawings for architectural and engineering applications
* Prepare Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing callouts for manufacturing and technical documentation
* Produce, organize, and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics according to industry standards
* Design and review PCB layouts with attention to functionality and manufacturability
* Coordinate architectural, electrical, and engineering information across multiple documents
* Review drawings to identify inconsistencies, missing details, and potential design conflicts
* Communicate with remote project stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions
* Maintain drawing revisions, file organization, annotations, and document-control accuracy
* Deliver complete documentation packages according to agreed milestones and quality requirements
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 3 years of recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation
* Practical knowledge of industry-standard two-dimensional and three-dimensional CAD software
* Experience preparing architectural plans, elevations, technical details, and multi-document drawing sets
* Proven ability to create and interpret GD and T callouts
* Experience developing complex multi-sheet electrical schematics
* Familiarity with PCB layout design and its integration into multidisciplinary projects
* Strong understanding of drawing accuracy, document coordination, and quality-control procedures
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage several technical documents simultaneously
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
* Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment
* Experience collaborating with international project teams is advantageous
