This BIM and GIS Engineer role in Dubai focuses on preparing, updating, and coordinating technical CAD, BIM, and geospatial documentation for major infrastructure projects. The position supports stormwater, sewerage, irrigation, and microtunneling works by ensuring precise mapping, as-built verification, and full compliance with Dubai authority standards and AECOM workflows.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and revise technical drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and civil modeling tools.
* Interpret design inputs from engineers and convert them into coordinated construction drawings.
* Ensure all CAD work complies with project specifications, RTA, DM, and DEWA standards.
* Track and verify sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation networks using up-to-date as-built data from DS, IRR, and Roads projects.
* Conduct site surveys and coordinate with inspectors to verify site conditions and collect accurate data for as-built documentation.
* Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and document control to ensure timely submission and approval of drawings.
* Update redline markups, pipeline profiles, section details, shaft layouts, and microtunneling data.
* Maintain a structured archive of all project drawings, versions, and digital records.
* Review contractors’ as-built and shop drawings to verify alignment with actual site execution.
* Provide drafting support during construction, reflecting approved changes and field conditions.
* Support preparation of utility coordination drawings, ensuring conflict-free integration of multiple services.
* Implement AECOM CAD standards including layering, scaling, and title block accuracy.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Civil and Survey Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM and GIS engineering roles within infrastructure or utilities.
* Mastery of BIM platforms such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk MAP, Bentley MicroStation, and InfraWorks.
* Strong proficiency in GIS tools including Esri ArcGIS and QGIS.
* Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for multidisciplinary coordination.
* Ability to manage large datasets, detailed revisions, and multi-service utility mapping.
* Strong knowledge of Dubai authority requirements and infrastructure standards.
* Excellent coordination, documentation, and digital modeling skills.
