The role involves BIM modelling, engineering drawing development, multidisciplinary coordination, model-based quantity extraction, clash detection, and compliance with established BIM, CAD, and quality-control processes from project startup through completion.

What You\'ll Be Doing
- Work closely with the BIM Lead and Design Leads to maintain compliance with established project policies, processes, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with BIM Leads, Design Leads, and Engineers to develop MEP engineering drawings from sketches
and general engineering and design information.
- Prepare arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and component details in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Support BIM activities throughout the project lifecycle, from project startup through final completion.
- Review drawings for readability, presentation quality, accuracy, and adherence to applicable standards and company QA-QC processes.
- Create parametric and non-parametric BIM families and other required model content.
- Apply appropriate Level of Development requirements during model preparation and coordination.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to resolve coordination issues and complete model development activities.
- Use Autodesk Navisworks for multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
- Prepare and issue clash-detection reports.
- Produce schedules and quantity extractions directly from BIM models.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with the position when appropriate.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of GCC experience in BIM-CAD drafting for MEP projects.
- Relevant project experience may include pump stations, gas networks, HVAC systems, and mechanical works associated with metro stations, substations, or MCC rooms.
- Practical experience using Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
- Experience working with ProjectWise under ISO 19650 requirements and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Knowledge of BIM modelling processes and project workflows.
- Understanding of Level of Development requirements and their application to BIM deliverables.
