Role Context
The BIM Engineer plays a key role in delivering infrastructure projects through accurate 3D modeling and digital workflows. This position supports project efficiency by ensuring model quality, coordination across disciplines, and compliance with BIM standards such as ISO 19650.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain 3D structural BIM models for bridges, tunnels, and related structures
* Implement parametric and automation workflows using tools such as Dynamo
* Perform BIM coordination and clash detection with civil, architectural, and MEP teams
* Manage project data and models within Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms
* Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans and ISO 19650 standards
* Extract quantities, schedules, and documentation from BIM models
* Produce 2D drawings derived from 3D models including plans and reinforcement details
* Update models based on design revisions, RFIs, and engineering inputs
* Maintain model accuracy, constructability, and project standards
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Minimum 2 years of experience in structural BIM engineering for infrastructure projects
* Strong expertise in 3D modeling for bridges and tunnels
* Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D
* Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection processes
* Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM workflows
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
