Role Summary
The BIM Engineer plays a key role in delivering infrastructure projects in Dubai UAE by creating accurate 3D structural models for bridges and tunnels while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and project requirements. This BIM Engineer position supports coordination across disciplines and enhances project efficiency through digital workflows.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for bridges, tunnels, piers, and structural elements
* Implement parametric and automation workflows using tools such as Dynamo
* Perform clash detection and BIM coordination with civil, architectural, and MEP teams
* Manage models and data within Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms
* Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans and ISO 19650 standards
* Extract quantities, schedules, and reports from BIM models
* Produce 2D drawings derived from 3D models including plans and reinforcement details
* Update models based on design changes, RFIs, and technical inputs
* Maintain model accuracy and constructability standards
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM engineering for infrastructure projects
* Strong expertise in Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D
* Experience in bridges and tunnels modeling is preferred
* Knowledge of BIM coordination and ISO 19650 standards
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
