The BIM Engineer plays a key role in delivering accurate digital models for infrastructure projects, ensuring coordination across disciplines and compliance with BIM standards. The role supports efficient project execution by improving design clarity, reducing clashes, and enhancing constructability.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain 3D structural BIM models for bridges, tunnels, and related structures
* Implement automation workflows using tools like Dynamo to improve efficiency
* Perform clash detection and coordinate with civil, MEP, and architectural teams
* Manage models and project data within Autodesk Construction Cloud platforms
* Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and BIM execution plans
* Extract quantities, schedules, and reports from BIM models
* Produce 2D drawings derived from coordinated 3D models
* Update models based on design revisions, RFIs, and engineering feedback
Ideal Profile
A technically skilled BIM professional with experience in structural modeling for infrastructure projects. The candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of managing complex models, and experienced in multidisciplinary coordination within BIM environments.
Skills Set
* Expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D
* Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection processes
