Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join the Rail Operations team at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai. The role involves supporting project planning, monitoring, and coordination of civil engineering works, ensuring adherence to international standards and specifications.

What You’ll Do
* Assist in the preparation of project plans and specifications when required
* Fulfil reporting requirements and maintain accurate inspection-related records
* Coordinate civil work activities with developers and other projects impacted by planned works
* Monitor risk registers and ensure contractors implement mitigation measures, reporting deviations
* Support the defense of claims and assist with contractual and commercial issues
* Provide assistance during tender submissions and evaluations, preparing assessment reports
* Prepare and review project cost reports and financial documentation
* Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and the construction PM team to support civil and structural works
* Ensure civil works meet international standards, project drawings, and specifications
* Monitor project progress through site visits, report reviews, and participation in meetings
* Coordinate with relevant departments regarding unlicensed transport phenomena at ports
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
* Strong knowledge of civil work standards, risk management, and quality assurance
* Ability to prepare technical reports and analyze financial data
* Effective communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams
* UAE Nationals preferred
