The role involves independently developing engineering deliverables, defining technical work scopes, supporting project budgets and schedules, preparing design documentation, and providing technical direction to designers, CAD personnel, and other engineers.
The position requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years in similar Public Realm work, together with proficiency in CAD and engineering software applications.

What You\'ll Be Doing
- Independently develop
engineering products and supervise their preparation to meet required customer quality standards.
- Define engineering problems and establish appropriate technical work scopes.
- Prepare and manage engineering inputs to project budgets and schedules.
- Plan assigned engineering activities and provide technical direction throughout execution.
- Monitor engineering progress and report work status to relevant project stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and technical analyses.
- Develop procurement documents and design and installation packages as required.
- Participate in technical and proposal evaluations.
- Prepare technical reports and detailed engineering assessments.
- Support other engineering activities according to project requirements.
- Provide technical input and guidance to CAD Designer-Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the project.
- Perform additional responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Engineering and Design Scope
The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the preparation and coordination of engineering deliverables for Public Realm works. Responsibilities extend from initial problem definition and scope development through calculations, drawings, procurement documentation, installation packages, technical evaluations, and reporting.
The role requires the ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with other engineering and design personnel. Technical guidance provided to CAD and engineering team members will help maintain consistency and quality across project deliverables.
