Role Context
The Estimation Engineer supports the Trading Division by preparing accurate project estimates, technical documents, and commercial quotations. This position works closely with suppliers, internal teams, and clients to ensure timely quotation preparation, cost control, and smooth coordination for engineering and trading projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quantity take-off and prepare accurate material and project estimations.
Prepare bill of quantities and commercial quotations based on project requirements and specifications.
Follow up on submitted quotations and maintain communication with clients and internal teams.
Prepare technical documents, estimation reports, and supporting commercial documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, technical specifications, and material availability.
Maintain proper documentation and records for quotations, supplier communication, and project files.
Support the sales and project teams with accurate cost analysis and technical information.
Review drawings and project details to ensure correct estimation and scope understanding.
Assist in improving estimation accuracy and timely delivery of proposals.
Use MS Office tools for reporting, calculations, and communication.
Apply AutoCAD knowledge where required for reviewing technical drawings and layouts.
Ideal Profile
Diploma, B.Tech, or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering is required.
0-1 year of experience is preferred.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Strong understanding of estimation processes and engineering documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook is required.
Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
