Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and checklists to optimize the inspection process and improve operational efficiency
- Perform detailed testing of HVAC systems, including airflow, pressure, and temperature assessments, to validate system performance and energy efficiency
- Review and analyze technical documentation, including design plans and equipment specifications, to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions, ensuring documentation is readily available for audits
- Stay updated with industry standards, safety regulations, and emerging HVAC technologies to enhance quality control practices
- Participate in project meetings, providing quality-related insights and recommendations to enhance project execution and performance
Required Skills and Experience
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Certification in HVAC quality control, inspection, or compliance is a plus
Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HVAC quality control, inspection, or testing
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system performance metrics, testing procedures, and industry standards
- Experience working with large-scale commercial or industrial HVAC installations
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC testing tools and diagnostic equipment for airflow, pressure, and temperature analysis
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve HVAC performance issues
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills for quality control record-keeping
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams and contractors
