Key Responsibilities
* Review project drawings, specifications, and authority standards to ensure survey accuracy
* Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points and survey benchmarks
* Coordinate with contractor survey teams to verify layout and control data
* Check and verify setting-out works including alignments, levels, and coordinates
* Monitor excavation, backfilling, and compaction to ensure compliance with design levels
* Inspect installation of utilities, chambers, and ducts for correct alignment and levels
* Conduct topographic and as-built surveys and verify submission accuracy
* Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of survey instruments
* Assist Resident Engineer and project team in verifying contractor survey works
* Record survey data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate field documentation
* Ensure adherence to approved survey methods and safety procedures
* Perform joint surveys for measurement verification and project handover
* Identify and report discrepancies or deviations in survey works
* Monitor HSE compliance during all survey operations
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying
* Minimum 10 years of experience in construction or supervision projects
* Strong experience in infrastructure, utilities, and road projects
* Knowledge of existing utility networks in Dubai
* Experience in survey control, setting-out, and as-built verification
* Proficiency in survey equipment and related software tools
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in field operations
* Good coordination and communication skills with project stakeholders
