Key Responsibilities
* Perform topographic, control, and setting-out surveys for stormwater and microtunneling projects
* Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and survey grids in coordination with project teams
* Apply IFC drawings, alignment data, and coordinate systems in line with RTA and project standards
* Verify horizontal and vertical alignments, pipe inverts, tunnel drives, and shaft positioning
* Conduct as-built surveys and validate contractor submissions for accuracy
* Monitor microtunneling operations, ensuring alignment tolerances are maintained
* Maintain detailed survey records, field data, and documentation for full traceability
* Coordinate with contractors and supervision teams to resolve discrepancies
* Support measurement verification, interim payments, and progress validation
* Participate in project meetings to provide updates on survey progress and site conditions
* Ensure compliance with HSE standards, especially in confined spaces and shaft environments
* Calibrate and maintain survey instruments including GPS, total stations, and digital levels
* Assist during testing, commissioning, and handover by verifying final coordinates and levels
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
* Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure surveying projects
* Mandatory RTA approval for microtunneling works
* Strong experience in stormwater drainage, deep pipelines, and tunnel alignment monitoring
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS, and total station equipment
* Strong understanding of coordinate systems, datum control, and alignment verification
* Experience with RTA, DM, and DEWA standards in UAE projects
* Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
* High attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and safety awareness
