Key Responsibilities
* Perform field survey work under supervision, establishing horizontal and vertical control points
* Conduct pre-construction surveys to validate site conditions and project requirements
* Carry out construction layout, staking, and setting out for roads, pavements, drainage, and utilities
* Verify contractor work alignment, grading, and levels against approved drawings
* Coordinate with contractor survey teams and Resident Engineer on discrepancies
* Perform traverse closures and bench circuit checks to ensure survey accuracy
* Operate and maintain survey equipment including GPS systems and total stations
* Prepare as-built drawings and maintain accurate survey documentation and reports
* Ensure compliance with safety standards during all survey activities
* Maintain precise field records and logs throughout project execution
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* 8–12 years of experience as a land surveyor in infrastructure projects
* Mandatory UAE approvals such as DM or RTA with at least 3 years UAE experience
* Strong experience in roads and highways construction projects
* Proficiency in survey equipment including GPS and total stations
* Strong understanding of survey control, leveling, and mapping techniques
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Good coordination and communication skills in site environments
