About the Role:

In this role, you will coordinate across multiple trades, contractors, and departments to guarantee seamless project completion while meeting stringent time, cost, and safety requirements.
As a key member of the Projects Department, your expertise will be critical in managing the execution of construction activities, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring that resources are optimally utilized. You will act as a primary point of contact for all construction-related matters, ensuring that project milestones are achieved on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and supervise project execution to meet set timelines, specifications, scope, and budget.
- Oversee both online and shutdown project execution, ensuring timely contract preparation and tendering processes.
- Identify risks and critical path elements; develop and implement measurable contingency plans.
- Coordinate with project coordinators and contractors to ensure timely task completion.
- Set performance targets, provide feedback, and participate in staff development, recruitment, and selection.
- Manage interface between multiple contractors and internal departments (workshop, maintenance, asset integrity, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and technical standards during project execution.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely procurement of critical erection components.
- Follow relevant industry standards and technical requirements for equipment and services during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and encourage collaboration to meet project goals.
- Ensure efficient use of resources while minimizing risks and costs.
- Facilitate smooth handover of completed projects by updating all relevant documentation and drawings.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of direct, relevant experience in construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, including cost, time, quality, and safety management.
- Experience in pipeline construction, installation, and related procedures.
- Solid understanding of static equipment operation, specifications, and requirements.
- Proven expertise in contract administration, bid preparation, contractor selection, and negotiation.
- Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and subcontractors to meet high-performance standards.
- Experience in inventory management, material ordering, and expediting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in leading project management teams.
- In-depth knowledge of budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Familiarity with procedures for management of change, including documentation updates.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks for optimal project execution.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage multiple interfaces effectively.
