Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products using engineering principles and software (CAD).
Analyze and solve technical problems related to mechanics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
Conduct research and stay up-to-date on new technologies and materials relevant to the field.
Perform calculations to ensure designs meet functional requirements, safety standards, and cost constraints.
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing.
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel to bring products from concept to completion.
Conduct or oversee testing of prototypes to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
Recommend and implement design modifications to optimize product functionality and manufacturability.
May participate in the manufacturing process to ensure quality control.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Minimum [3] years of experience in a mechanical engineering role (adjust based on seniority level).
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and principles (a plus).
Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and regulations (a plus).
