IHG Hotels & Resorts is looking for a skilled Multi / Electromechanical Technician to join the engineering team at voco Dubai. What You’ll Do
* Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs on electrical and mechanical systems
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with motors, pumps, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and control panels
* Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
* Repair and maintain electrical systems including lighting, wiring, and power distribution
* Perform mechanical work involving valves, piping, kitchen and laundry equipment, and related machinery
* Respond quickly to service requests and breakdowns to reduce downtime
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, service logs, and safety inspections
* Ensure all activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures
* Contribute to sustainability and energy-saving initiatives across the property
* Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve issues effectively
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering
* Prior experience as a multi-skilled technician in hospitality, facilities management, or industrial environments
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
* Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings
* Skilled in troubleshooting and solving complex technical problems
* Effective communication skills and a collaborative team approach
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and respond to urgent maintenance needs
