Job Purpose
Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the ARG network including (IP Telephone, Routing and Switching, basic Security) of all ARG sites and users connectivity.
Job Responsibilities
Incident/Problem/Change Management:
Configuration of routing and switching equipment, including routers, switches, modems, etc.
Securing the network by establishing and enforcing security policies.
Support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
Upgrading network devices to the latest stable firmware releases.
IP telephony configuration and integration with ARG
Call Manager and IP phones.
Prioritizing between day-to-day support and other tasks.
Basic configuration of firewalls.
Capacity management and auditing of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers.
Coordination with project management, desktop engineers, and helpdesk engineers regularly.
Designing and implementing new solutions to improve flexibility of the current environment.
Coordination with vendors and service providers.
Configuring the LAN, WAN, and WLAN for the group.
Coordinating with external vendors for networking projects.
Troubleshooting networking issues and communication line problems.
Coordinating with external vendors for VoIP projects.
Any additional tasks assigned by the line manager within the scope of work.
Supporting ARG & GIT project demands and delivery.
