Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identifies existing hazards by implementing qualitative and quantitative analysis of sources, systems, activities and operations.

• Monitors performance for trends or other indicators of improving or degrading incident performance and develops and implements strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.
• Assists in identifying in opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of services for a client/account.
• Promotes safety consciousness among employees by providing accurate and informative data, conducting safety meetings, giving timely feedback, on safety suggestions and visibly supporting the safety program(s).
• Acts as a resource to staff and employees as an HSE subject matter expert.
• Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures
• Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

• Occupational Health Management system - Maintain records of occupational diseases as per factories act and ensure periodical medical check-up of the employees in coordination with company medical officer.

Candidate Profile Description • Minimum HND/Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, in area of Food, Chemical, HSE, Environmental, Safety Engineering, Food Science, or Biochemistry or similar.
• +5 years of direct safety management experience; managerial role in a field facility or Q/S/E corporate team.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility ensuring safety compliance.
• Experience working with OSHA and other federal agencies pertaining to all areas of safety.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present information.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
• Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
• Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.

• Lead the occupational safety and health culture transformation to ensure excellence is a core value embedded in everything we do across the system.

• Ensure Zero is possible Safety Strategy is in place and implemented across Operating Unit territories with all programs
• Conduct trainings, mock drills and audits on fire prevention, fire protection.
