Sales Technical Support Engineer – Smoke Management Systems

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions for smoke management systems
- Offer pre-sales technical support, including conducting product presentations, demonstrations, and providing product specifications
- Assist in preparing and reviewing technical proposals, bid specifications, and system designs to ensure compliance with project needs and industry standards
- Respond to technical queries from customers, contractors, and consultants regarding smoke management and related fire safety solutions
- Provide expert guidance on system design, integration, and application of smoke management systems in various environments
- Collaborate with engineers and customers to configure and customize solutions that meet specific project requirements
- Perform calculations and simulations, such as airflow analysis and fan sizing, to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions
Required Skills and Experience
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications or courses in smoke management, fire safety, or HVAC systems are an advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a technical support or sales engineering role, preferably in smoke management systems or a related field
- Strong understanding of smoke and heat venting systems, fire safety regulations, and HVAC integration
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, and end-users to deliver customized fire safety solutions
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in system design, integration, and configuration of smoke management solutions
- Ability to perform calculations related to airflow analysis, fan sizing, and fire safety compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical queries and troubleshoot system issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits (domestic/international as required)
