Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary advisor for all safety health and environment matters across projects
* Develop and implement SH&E strategies aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance
* Lead investigations into incidents, near-misses, and safety violations with corrective actions
* Integrate SH&E best practices into project execution and operational workflows
* Supervise and mentor junior HSE staff, ensuring high performance and development
* Monitor compliance with UAE and international safety standards including ISO frameworks
* Design and deliver safety training programs across teams and project sites
* Prepare detailed safety reports, dashboards, and recommendations for senior management
* Manage emergency response planning and crisis management procedures
* Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the organization in safety matters
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification required
* Minimum 10 years of experience in SH&E roles with leadership exposure
* Strong experience in roads and infrastructure projects
* In-depth knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international standards
* Proven ability to develop and manage safety programs effectively
* Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
* Ability to lead teams and drive safety culture across projects
