This Senior CAD-BIM Technician role in Dubai focuses on producing, coordinating, and managing advanced 2D and 3D design outputs for multidisciplinary engineering and architectural projects. The position supports AECOM’s digital project delivery by ensuring accurate models, coordinated drawings, and full compliance with BIM and CAD standards across major infrastructure and building assignments.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or architectural disciplines.
* Ensure all drawings and models align with project standards, BIM protocols, and client requirements.
* Produce coordinated layouts, sections, and construction details with high technical accuracy.
* Conduct clash detection, perform model audits, and resolve coordination issues.
* Collaborate with engineers, architects, and technicians to integrate multidisciplinary design information.
* Support digital reviews, model exchanges, and BIM coordination meetings.
* Maintain CAD-BIM templates, content libraries, and configuration files as per project BEPs.
* Deliver models and drawings within agreed deadlines and required levels of detail.
* Participate in QA-QC reviews to ensure data integrity and consistency across all deliverables.
* Mentor junior CAD-BIM team members and support digital transformation processes.
* Assist in implementing BIM workflows using platforms such as ProjectWise, BIM 360, and ACC.
* Utilize advanced modeling tools including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Navisworks, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
* 6–10 years of experience in CAD and BIM production within consultancy or construction environments.
* Proven background working on multidisciplinary engineering or infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of BIM processes and international BIM standards such as BS EN ISO 19650.
* High-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and optionally Civil 3D or MicroStation.
* Ability to manage multiple deliverables with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
* Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo or Python is an advantage.
