Role Context
This role leads the structuring of asset lifecycle strategies across large-scale infrastructure portfolios, ensuring that asset data, governance models, and operational readiness are aligned from design through to long-term operations. It supports decision-making, cost optimization, and performance improvement across complex asset environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead development of asset information requirements including classification systems and data structures
* Drive implementation of enterprise asset management systems and asset registers
* Support lifecycle governance frameworks aligned with ISO 55000 standards
* Oversee asset data validation, verification, and performance tracking processes
* Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools for asset performance
* Analyze lifecycle cost, risk, and performance data to support planning strategies
* Coordinate with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and regulatory bodies
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and multidisciplinary delivery teams
* Support integration of digital engineering systems including BIM and data platforms
* Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and post-project evaluations
Ideal Profile
* Degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or related discipline
* 15+ years experience in asset management, infrastructure, or digital engineering environments
* Strong expertise in asset lifecycle planning and governance frameworks
* Experience managing complex infrastructure or transport programs
* Proven leadership in multidisciplinary team environments
* Ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams across systems and policy
