Position Overview
AECOM is seeking a Senior Sustainability Consultant in Dubai, UAE to lead sustainability advisory and green building certification services across complex built environment projects. This role focuses on delivering LEED and other sustainability certifications, supporting net zero strategies, and integrating environmental performance solutions into major construction and development projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage sustainability consultancy projects from concept through certification close-out
* Develop and implement LEED certification strategies aligned with project scope, budgets, and timelines
* Prepare projects for LEED v5 and other green building certifications
* Conduct and review energy modelling, daylight analysis, carbon assessments, and building performance studies
* Review architectural, MEP, and material documentation to ensure compliance with sustainability standards
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to embed sustainability requirements into project delivery
* Prepare high-quality technical reports and certification submissions
* Provide advisory support to clients and stakeholders on sustainability frameworks and compliance
* Monitor project sustainability KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Support sustainability workshops and strategic climate action initiatives
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 8 years of professional experience in building sustainability certification
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Sciences, or related discipline
* Accredited professional certification such as LEED AP, Estidama PQP, or equivalent
* Proven experience delivering LEED, Mostadam, Estidama, WELL, or similar certifications
* Strong technical understanding of energy modelling and building performance
* Excellent communication and client management skills
