Structural Engineer - Bridge and Infrastructure Supervision Dubai
Position Overview
Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our construction supervision team in Dubai. This role focuses on structural works related to bridges, viaducts, and underpasses, providing technical support and oversight throughout the construction phase.

What You’ll Do
* Support the Resident Engineer in supervising all structural activities for bridges, viaducts, and related civil works
* Review shop drawings, design proposals, and method statements for structural compliance
* Coordinate with design engineers to resolve technical issues during construction
* Direct and monitor the work of inspectors and surveyors to ensure quality and schedule adherence
* Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and local authorities on structural matters
* Maintain accurate site records, daily logs, and progress reports
* Assist with issuing site instructions and ensure that safety procedures are followed on-site
* Check, measure, and record progress for structural elements in line with project milestones
* Oversee the preparation and handover of as-built documentation and final approvals from relevant authorities
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
* At least 12 years of experience in construction supervision of bridges, underpasses, and related structures
* Strong technical background in reviewing material submittals, lab reports, and sampling plans
* Proficiency in project documentation tools and structural engineering software
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Prior experience on large-scale infrastructure projects in the GCC region is preferred
* Experience working within engineering consultancies in the UAE or wider Gulf is an advantage
