Position Overview
This Structural Engineer role focuses on bridges and underpasses within major infrastructure projects across Dubai. The position supports the site supervision team, ensuring that construction activities meet design intent, authority standards, and project quality expectations. It strengthens AECOM’s delivery of transportation infrastructure across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities
* Report to the Senior Engineer and support the supervision of bridge and road-structure construction.
* Coordinate daily activities with engineers, inspectors, and multidisciplinary supervision teams.
* Resolve design-related issues through coordination with AECOM design engineers.
* Maintain daily diaries, site records, and inspector reports.
* Coordinate with contractor engineers on resource allocation and work sequencing.
* Direct, guide, and monitor inspectors and surveyors in executing their assigned duties.
* Lead and participate in meetings with contractors, subcontractors, service authorities, and other project stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, construction standards, and safety requirements.
* Support timely progress reporting and assist in resolving site technical issues.
* Promote consistent quality and safety practices throughout construction activities.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of experience in structural supervision with focus on bridges and underpasses.
* Strong knowledge of international design codes and construction standards.
* Excellent analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
* Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and RTA standards.
* RTA pre-approval is desirable.
* Professional engineering certification is an advantage.
