Sustainability Engineer Specialist
JASARA PMC is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Engineer Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role plays a vital part in driving our sustainability initiatives, ensuring projects align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental policies, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability practices, particularly within infrastructure and urban development projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives across projects
- Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor and report sustainability metrics and key performance indicators within project designs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability practices into project planning and execution
- Engage and educate design teams on sustainability best practices and environmental impact reduction
- Ensure compliance with local and international sustainability regulations and frameworks
- Assess environmental impact and provide recommendations to optimize energy, water, and waste management strategies
- Stay updated with emerging trends, green technologies, and sustainability advancements relevant to the industry
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability or environmental management
- Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, industry standards, and Saudi Arabian environmental regulations
- Experience with city infrastructure systems such as power, water, and air handling is highly beneficial
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage diverse stakeholders effectively
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-driven environment
- Passion for sustainability with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Saudi nationals preferred
