Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Leadership:
- Support the Executive Director of Strategy in developing and updating the 5-year business plan, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to track industry trends, pricing strategies, and new project developments in the UAE and the region
- Prepare feasibility studies to assess the commercial viability of new concepts and projects, including market research, revenue forecasting, and financial modeling
- Monitor the strategic performance of various assets within the entertainment portfolio, raising concerns and providing insights for decision-making
- Lead and coordinate business planning activities across departments, ensuring that corporate strategy translates into actionable initiatives
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategies and track business performance
- Act as a secretariat for joint venture boards and other committees, preparing relevant reports and documentation
Operational:
- Develop analytical models and business cases to evaluate market opportunities and capitalize on revenue streams
- Support the approval process for new projects and investments, preparing business plans, presentations, and proposals for senior management
- Ensure coordination with various departments to track and report on the progress of strategic initiatives
- Assist in establishing greater transparency and accountability in strategic planning and execution
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in strategy development, business planning, or revenue management within hospitality, tourism, government, or theme park industries
- Strong understanding of revenue management frameworks, visitation channels, and segmentation strategies for entertainment attractions or hotels
- Experience with reservation and ticketing systems, with knowledge of VGS as an advantage
- High-level commercial acumen with strong decision-making skills
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business case development skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience in presentations and public speaking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and drive results
